Mars is the fourth planet from the sun in our solar system and is often referred to as the "Red Planet" due to its reddish appearance. Mars is home to the largest volcano in the solar system, Olympus Mons, as well as the deepest canyon, Valles Marineris. It has two small moons, Phobos and Deimos, which are believed to be captured asteroids.
